My maids went dress shopping tonight. My wedding is in just over 7 weeks. There was one dress available in the store they went to which they could maybe get in from the warehouse in NY a matter of 2 or 3 days before our wedding. Fiance does not like the dress.
They will absolutely want to try on the dress first. I only asked them to have floor length dresses. They are located in Edmonton so they will not be able to try them on unless they have a shop located there.
Any help?? This seems like a hopeless situation to me.

A friend of mine was in a wedding and they got their dresses at Le Chateau… ?

Le Chateau usually has a good selection of dresses. Also try department stores like The Bay or Sears they usually have a good selection of dresses.

I would say RW and Co if you have it? What colour are you looking for? We can help!
ETA: What about Nordstrom’s online? Or Dress Barn? Not Canadian, and it might cost you a fair bit up front to just buy a few dresses to try and send back in various sizes, but they ship quickly.

Also try Fairweather’s. They always have a large selection of formal dresses: short & flirty and long & formal.
( http://www.fairweather.ca , but they don’t have any clothing online)

We’re not looking for a specific colour, I think the girls were going to go with black or a maroon.
I’ve sent along the suggestions! Hope something works |: so stressful.

In Mississauga the Square One Mall has a TON of formal dress shops (lots of no-name ones in the hallway by Zellers). I’d suggest having them walk around the mall for a bit.
