baby powder works better than any cream….sprinkle some one while your getting ready, it should last most of the night…even with sweating…

BodyGlide BodyGlide BodyGlide. They make a few different formulas but I always carry some in my purse especially on hot summer days. Its great for your bra straps and breaking in new heels as well.

Supposedly the monistat chafing cream works wonders, but I have never used it.  I’ll definitely be using spanx though!  Haha.

@out4answers:  You can buy BodyGlide at a sports store. I honestly don’t remember how much it is, but I don’t think it’s more than $10 or so for a stick. It comes in a deodorant-type dispenser and you just rub it on the skin that you want to protect.

BodyGlide is great, but it can be sticky. If you can find it, get the Lanacane Anti Chafing Gel.  It goes on and dries like a powder, and works all day.  I use it mostly with new sandals, and did use it yesterday with new sandals and walked all over NYC for almost 12 hours with no issues whatsoever. I have found it recenly at Walmart.

I wore Spanx for this reason, but the Monistat stuff works well (it also doubles as a good primer for makeup, too)!
