    i make my own

its equal parts baking soda and water

you mix it up in a bowl

brush your teeth with it for about 3 minutes

you can add more baking soda mixture if you want while brushing

    with a normal toothbrush

    rinse with cold water

    brush with a whiten toothpaste

floss and use mouth wash as normal

do this every other day for about 2-3 weeks then

    weekly

stay away from things that can stain your teeth

like coffee , tomato sauce, red wine, dark sodas and juices

    things like that

I am trying crest 3d white strips vivid, my mom had really good success with those. I noticed a difference after the first use.

Crest White Strips Pro works pretty well and is pretty easy on your teeth if you have a sensitivity problem.  I have a Sonicare toothbrush that works well to remove surface stains like coffee and tea.  Be careful with baking soda near your gumline, you can get some recession due to the abrasiveness (use an Extra Soft toothbrush).

I tried the Crest Professional (I think they are called) or extra strong, or something (apparently these stay on your teeth better than the basic ones). Basically the Crest Whitening Strips - they are great! They do make your teeth a little bit more sensitive, but you only have to use them for two weeks and after that your teeth feel normal - but so much whiter! :) I used them in January this year and my teeth are still a much whiter than they were before I used them.

My teeth are sensitive to White Strips, so I use Rembrandt 2 Hour Whitening. The kit comes with 2 trays that you dip in hot water and customize to your teeth, and 12ish ampules with the whitening stuff. The directions say to use 1 ample for each tray, but I use 1 ampule for both to make the kit stretch further. And instead of doing the 2 hour program I whiten once a night. I've bought this kit twice (once a year) with no problems.

Suze Orman (who has the whitest teeth I have ever seen) uses the Crest White Strips.  She talks about the occasionally on her show.  I am going to go buy some this week and try them.

I have just been using Rebrandt Intense tootpaste and it has worked wonders. I didn't think my teeth were that bad, but when I met with my planner this past Friday, the first thing she noticed was how white my teeth are. She commented on them even before she said hi to me.

I didn't go the home route, but went to the dentist instead and happen to have my trays in as I am typing.

My teeth happen to be bonded. If yours are too, remember that the bleach will bleach your teeth but not the bonding. If your teeth are bonded, you can ask your dentist to "buff" out the bonding in the hopes to make it whiter. (I am having three teeth re-bonded after the bleaching process...Thank goodness covered by insurance)

My fiance had great luck with GO SMILE.

    Good Luck.

I second the Rembrandt Two Hour Whitening. I liked the little trays you mold to fit your teeth. It also doesn't seem to have made my teeth as sensitive as white strips did!

Crest white strips are the ones we were told in school (dental assistant) that worked.

Crest White strips all the way! I used them for 2 weeks and afterward we went cosmic bowling...my teeth glowed under the black light!!!! (although not quite as dramatic as when Ross's did on friends hehe)
