Happy Birthday! My husband is about 5 years younger than me too. I was dreading the 3-0. Ah well, its not so bad.. :)

Turned the dreaded 3-0 today. UGH. I never thought I'd stress about being 30 but now that I'm engaged to a 24 year old ... HA. ME DON'T WANNA GET OLDER! ;)
Alas... he has made it a wonderful one (so has my office)! He surprised me with a gorgeous watch AND had flowers delivered to my office! We're going out for a nice dinner this evening. Perfect!
At work, we (all 4 of us in the office today!) had a bottle of champagne and same amazing red velvet cupcakes.
Normally, I despise my birthday... it has always been a let down. This year... is the exception! I can't wait until it is another friend's or family member's birthday. I really had no idea what it felt like to "feel special" on your brithday until now! Definitely looking forward to passing on the feeling to someone else!
