I went out shopping for a few hours this morning, because DH works for a local radio station and had to be at the mall in the middle of the night and I thought that was a good enough excuse to be out in the shopping madness :).

I primarily bought clothes for our nephews - great deals at American Eagle (40% everything in the store), and the Children's Place (30% off everything in the store).

I also selfishly picked up something for us - Found a $70 set of sheets at JcPenney for $15! Figured I couldn't pass up a deal that fantastic :).

What else did other people pick up in the early morning hours today?

@MissEdamame: I was sick or else I'd have gone out. I'm doing my shopping online. Same deal from AE with free shipping. Victoria Secret has bras bogo 50%. Plus a free tote. And bath and body works has if you spend $40, you can buy a tote for $20 and it comes with over $100 worth of stuff. I also have a bogo for yankee candle and it's buy 2 candles (same size) get 2 (same size) free.

I got a Nikon camera for $100 at Target last night (usually $199). I am pretty happy with it so far after playing around a bit today. That was the only thing that I really wanted so I grabbed it and left. Usually I will shop more, but there wasn't much more I wanted this year.

@mrskesslertobe: Is it a digital SLR? My SIL recently got a digital SLR and I've been wanting one since then. Her camera takes gorgeous photos. Something I definitely plan to invest in before we have kids.

I think I did pretty good at Victora secret today too.  I had a coupon for free panties, and two $10 off coupons, one for a bra, one for any purchase over $50 and bras were b1g1, so I got two bras and panties for $44, and had $30 store credit so walked out paying $13.  My husband got a $800 shot gun for $400 after rebates, so he's pretty happy with that.

FI just bought me a Fujifilm camera for $188, and I picked him up Cabela's Big Game Hunter for Wii for $20 less than I've seen it everywhere else. I was hoping for bigger/better sales, but it's not a big loss.

@MissEdamame: It is not, I think it is what they call a bridge between digital and SLR. There a lot of different settings to play with. I couldn't find any reviews before I bought it so I was a little nervous, but for $100 I am happy with quality.

I got the Nikon Coolpix L105, I guess it is a little sister to the L120 (they look exactly the same) that I really wanted to buy, but at this point didn't want to invest that much into a new camera.

We got DH a bunch of shirts at Khols on the cheap, but our mission at Walmart failed...LOL

I did my first ever BF shopping last night at WalMart. I am really short on money this year, but I totally splurged and bought SO a laptop -- $200! I'm really pleased and he's going to be so excited :D

I haven't left my apartment but... I did get a great deal for Black Friday. I am moving in with my fiance in three weeks so I called the moving van company to put a deposit down, and they knocked $50 off the going rate because it's Black Friday. Wooohoo... that will mean I have just a little bit more to spend on Christmas presents this year!

Now if I can just get motivated to start packing. Gulp!

I bought a new bedset, a blanket, and a bunch of sheets for $150 and got $45 Kohls Cash back, plus my card has 10% cash back at Kohls.

And I got a shredder that is normally $100 for $19.99.

The big stuff I did was go to the drugstores for a bunch of free personal care stuff!

I worked last night.  There's a Home Depot in between my work and home so I stopped there after work to pick up my $50 7.5ft pre-lit Christmas tree.  Best deal I saw anywhere.  I'm so excited.  FI and I already put it up.  We just need to decorate it now.

Sorry for the huge, crappy iPhone pictures.  Now I'm searching for a 50" TV that's at a decent price.  FI wants a 1080P, not 720P (which are all on sale).  So picky he is.

Even though I'm in Canada, I'm sneaky. My credit card company changed my billing address to a shipping depot I use in Buffalo (I just have to call and change it back on Monday or Tuesday). I shopped online at Macys and got some great deals! I got 2 pairs of diamond hoop earrings (one for me and one for my best friend), $40 each, marked down from $160. A 2 strand pearl necklace for $69, marked down from $300, and two crockpot buffet thingies (it has three little pots with individual controls) for $29 each, down from $69. If I were American, I could mail in for $10 rebates on the crockpots. Still a good deal without it! We're going to keep them for housewarming presents for friends :)  Free shipping, but I paid $10 to upgrade it so that it'll be at my shipping place when I go down on Wednesday (fingers crossed it'll be there anyways). Very very happy!

ETA - I should clarify, I had to be sneaky because a lot of American websites won't allow you to use an American shipping address but an international billing address. It's so dumb.

I got a full-sized Kat Von D's Adora perfume for $10, along with a Stila palette and lipgloss, and two different Tokidoki eyeshadow quads all for $10 each!

I also got a dress and a shirt for $18 and a few sweaters and long-sleeved shirts from JC Penny for under $10 each as well. :)

@RR: I have been SO bad this year buying for myself!!! LOL!!! But I've also been really good about keeping a list of what I've bought for each person since I started too early, it's easy to over buy! Tonight we're hitting Zellers for 2 for 1 board games, sale starts at 6pm :) Tomorrow is 2 for 1 pillows there as well, we desperately need new pillows! Hm. That's stuff for me again.... lol!

@MissAsB: Well with the board games I'll likely get one or two for my stepson, and one or two for me, lol!! I saw a new version of Phase 10 that we have to have :)    The shipping to Canada thing is so silly. I'm so happy I found this shipping depot in Buffalo. You pay $5/package, $10 if it's oversized. They'll hold indefinitely for you. You can leave all the packaging and stuff there, so you can sneak it back across the border (not that I condone that Innocent). It's ridiculous how much it costs to ship something to Canada vs in the States. I wish I had known about this place while I was planning our wedding, I had everything shipped to my aunt's in Kansas and my parents had to go pick it up, lol!!

@kc3636:I bought them from Macys.com. I get stuff from the States shipped to CBIUSA in Buffalo (just on the other side of the Rainbow Bridge). Macy's ships internationally, but a lot of the time I don't think the expense is worth it. I'd rather drive down and make a day of it (and visit Joann fabrics and Target! LOL!).

I shopped all stinking night long.  I cannot believe I made it.

    Target:

Seasons 1 & 2 of Nurse Jackie for $7.99 each

Some kids games for $3.99 each

    Kohls

    A couple of $9 sweaters

    Boots for $20

    Nike running shoes for $26

Electric griddle for $10 (I was really excited about this one!)

    Hand mixer for $10

I got a stability ball for $5.99 from sears

A cheapo $20 6' tree from Kmart.  This is our first Christmas in our apartment so we were just looking for something that we can use for a couple of years before upgrading.

The most recent Harry Potter for $6.99 from Best Buy along with a couple of 99 cent DVDs

Oooo and I got some new sewing sissors and a bunch of patterns from Joanns for 99 cents each.

I got all that stuff and only spent about $130 because I had coupons on top of a lot of those prices.  I'd say this year was a success.  I also have decided that next year I will probably shop online.  I HATE staying up all night and since I am not going for any of the big ticket items most of them end up online.

@bakerella: Sneaky, sneaky. lol. I had a few things that don't ship to APO (which is an overseas, American military address) to my mom and she's going to forward them to us.

Only stuff I bought was baby stuff. I bought our baby swing, bouncer and pack n play for under $250 and then scored some really cute clothes from Carter's since they were having an insane sale. DH is excited about this one since he's a guitar player.
