What is the best book you've ever read?  And what's the best book you've read recently.

     Mine:

Best book ever:  The French Lieutennant's Woman

    Best recent book:  Dracula

Best book ever -- Still Life with Woodpecker by Tom Robbins.  This is a HARD choice for me, as a former English major, but I'll commit.

Best recent book -- Being Caribou by ... don't remember.  It was super interesting though.

I've loved Jon Krakauer's books the most: Into the Wild, Into Thin Air, Under the Banner of Heaven. I just love his books. I also really really enjoyed Devil in the White City by Erik Larson, but haven't super looooved any of his other books. I like books that give a little history lesson or are somewhat based on reality.

It's impossible to pick one book, Miss Mouse!!  That's like asking someone to pick their favorite child (although, secretly, I bet everyone does...right?), maybe even harder!

I need to think about it for a bit...

Hmmm, I can't pick a favorite book.  Right now I'm reading David Sedaris and LOVE IT.  Seriously, it's hilarious.
