Has anyone ever purchased a dress from http://www.bestbridalprices.com/ or any other online retailer?
I’m considering purchasing my dress online since there’s about a $150 price differential between that and a brick&mortar store. But I have no idea which online reatilers are reputable.
I’d love to hear any suggestions or advice you may have!

Just a quick tip…before you buy online, find yourself a great seamstress. Take the picture of the dress to her to get a rough idea on alteration costs, then check the alteration costs at the brick and mortar store. As far as checking into the store, try a google search on the online store and be sure to type in complaints or reviews (i.e. bestbridalprices.com, complaints, reviews) and see what information comes up! Good luck!

I just ordered a birdesmaid dress for my counsin’s May 17 wedding on Monday. They had the lowest price around, including 3 to 6 week rush shipping. I just got an e-mail from them stating that the dress should arrive on April 11, almost 2 weeks earlier than I expected.

For my friend’s wedding last summer, we found the BM dress in a bridal shop, and then bought them off bestbridalprices.com.
They were Jim Hjelm, and were perfect! We saved ourselves like $70 each!
If you know the exact style and have tried the dress on in the store, I would def say it’s worth it to save the money.

For my reception dress they charge the same as my local bridal boutiques, be sure it is a ‘deal’… on my dress they(bestbridalprices) say the actual price is $750 with their price being $550 and locally they sell it ranging from $536-$565… netbride.com sells it for $385. You may want to check them out!

Haven’t used them but be careful–that’s not a ton of money you are saving when you think of the cost of having it shipped, pressed and professional alterations.
Bee safe!! Best of luck!!

Does anyone else have any feedback on this?

They have a brick and mortar store in Illinois, it doesn’t look too far from St Louis. Their brick and mortar store is called “Carole Frew’s Bridal.” Illinoise/Missouri brides could actually check them out in person, and that would certainly save on shipping.

I have been to their physical store, its in Alton, Illinois, not too far from St Louis. A few years ago when my best friend was getting married we drove from where we live about 90 minutes north in a snowstorm to go wedding dress shopping. She bought her dress there. I’d recommend them to anyone. We didnt have any problems with them, and I”ve been checking out their prices while shopping for a dress for my vow renewal. They’re definitely a reputable business that’s been around for a long time.

I haven’t ordered my bridesmaids’ dresses there yet because I wanted to do some research first. It’s always scary to buy online and I was concerned it’s not reputable. I thought it might be helpful to share some findings:
On http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews109280.html, it has 4.5s and 5s, except for one person who was upset that they wouldn’t ship it to South Africa and one person who seems unused to bridal sizing.
Best Bridal Prices (a.k.a. Carol Frew’s, a.k.a. Colors Inc.) is a Better Business Bureau member with an A+ rating. http://www.bbb.org/stlouis/business-reviews/bridal-shops/color-plus-in-godfrey-il-110109107
Thought this might help! I’m going to tell my bridesmaids to order them there because they are $30 cheaper than in the store. I’ll let you know how it turns out!

New findings! PSBridal is another online retailer that is BBB A+ accredited and has NO complaints over the last 36 months, whereas Best Bridal Prices has 22! It’s also less expensive!

@Libyantiger84: That price is only for the belt sorry! Be very careful when reading the descriptions, that confused me so many times on their website – try sorting by the shape, fabric, etc, and hopefully you’ll just get dresses
