I have never been a bridesmaid so I can’t comment on best gift. But I am giving my bridemaids a collection of things such as mirrors, photo albums, leopard print clutches, lipstick, fingernail polish..etc.

I can’t remember what I got…so I guess that means they were all crappy. Lol

I got my BMs flip flops and silky robes $100 on each girl.

My favorite would definitely be the coach clutch bag! They’re about $120 each

I’ve only been in one wedding and she gave us keychains so I would say none so far. Lol

I haven’t kept anything I received as a bridesmaid gift. The gesture is always sweet, but I don’t keep anything that I don’t love, need, or use regularly. Eh, it’s what happens when gifts of appreciation become a formality amid the craziness of wedding planning.

For whatever it’s worth, I don’t like personalized things, even if I were to handpick it for myself.

For her wedding, my SIL got us a few trinkets but most importantly among the goodies was a pair of slippers which was wonderful because most of us didnt think to bring a change of shoes. It made us get on the dance floor more because we were comfortable 🙂

I got my girls Kate Spade Chandelier earrings.  I also got my sister MOH an additional Kate Spade Bridesmaid Idiom Bracelet.

I’m looking into the possibility of clutches for them as well.

I have gotten my girls flip flops that they can literally throw away after the wedding, flasks that will be filled with each of their favorite drink, a beach bag to throw everything in – not personalized and each unique for each BM – I will also get their jewerly and hopefully pay for their hair & makeup.  I know for me as a BM, I have appreciated anything that is specifically for the wedding – shoes, jewelry, hair makeup, dress.  I know they are shelling out a lot of time, money and effort to make my day the best ever and I am writing each of them a letter expressing how much each of them mean to me.

In all the weddings I’ve been in, they’ve gotten me jewelry to wear for the wedding. Practical, and I’ve worn nearly all of it multiple times afterwards.

Generic, but weddings are expensive enough as-is.

The first wedding I was in the gift was a personalized cheapo bracelet but it didn’t fit.  The bride was very petite, so I guess she measured her wrist and ordered them without thinking twice, but mine was much too small so that was a bit awkward.  She didn’t offer to have them sized either.

I’m in a wedding in a couple months so we’ll see.

Honestly, to all the brides out there, this is what would be a great gift: a nice card with you thanking your bridesmaid for all her hard work, a print of a nice picture of you two at the wedding, and a gift card for gas, airfare, or store she frequently shops at.  After being in a wedding, you are usually pretty broke so a gift card would be much appreciated.
