They have them on Save-on-Crafts.com but I ended up renting them from my florist. It may be cheaper for you to see if anywhere rents items like this by you.

For our wedding I contacted local tree removal and fire wood companies.  Alot of them laughed or said no until I found a smaller business that said yes.  He asked for the minimum fee of $160 to cut and provide me with all my log discs and stumps.

I was able to pick the diameters and thickness and he just kept cutting.  I got about 8 big to really big stumps for my cake table and enough wood discs for around 24 tables (way more than I needed with extras).  I think it was a steal.

Maybe a local tree company would be willing to do the same as most companies have to pay to throw away the wood anyway.

Good luck.

Oh….I also saw wood discs in the summer bbq section at Lowes.  I know it is meant for cooking but looked like it would be nice for decor.

Do you know anyone who uses a wood stove or fireplace

We are getting logs from FI grandparents and DIY.  But then again, we are kinda country like that lol

Another neat idea, is to take a large tree stump, hollow it out cut a slot in the tiop and make it your card box!  I recently went to a wedding that did that, and it serve 2 purposes- WAY too heavy for anyone to steal!
