Revlon Photofinish is what I use and I love it.  You look pretty fair (much like me) so you should be able to find a matching shade.  (That is the main complaint I hear about it, there aren’t many shades.)  It is long wearing, doesn’t smudge much at all, and provides about medium coverage.  Be sure to moisturize before putting on the foundation, and afterwards apply the powder with a brush and not the sponge that comes with the compact.  I was in Sephora today and one of the employees complimented me on my foundation.  She was surprised when I told her I paid like $10.00 for it.  Thank you drugstore deals!

I would be careful with layering on the BE unless you’re using the matte version, because of the shimmer that is inherent in that type of mineral makeup.  The shimmer doesn’t usually photograph well.  I think that any matte powder would probably work.  Most of the drugstores have a return policy now so you can try a few out too.

I wore BE for several years pretty much exclusively but I got tired of carting all of the stuff around for it.  It looks nice but where I live it gets really hot and I always found myself reapplying several times throughout the day.  Since I switched to Photoready for normal makeup days and the Clinique Almost Makeup foundation & powder for lazy and light makeup type days I’m way happier.

I use Revlon Colour Stay for Combination Skin. If does have SPF 6 in it, but it’s great. It’s matte with good coverage and stays on all day.
