I've had a few, and Cuisinart is my favorite brand by far. If your mom doesn't want something super-mondo-huge, I would recommend something this this:
My mom and I have a Quisinart "Quick N Easy" and we both love it. The only problem with it is that the bowl part breaks fairly easily if you drop it. Which I do because I'm clumsy. So the bowl cracks easily, and it's almost as expensive as the whole food processor to replace. So that's a pain. Luckly, super glue and duck tape (on the outside) are holding my bowl together for now... So I love it, but be careful not to drop the bowl! I can't find my specific one online, so maybe they stopped making it?
I think mine can hold about 5-6 cups, which is great for making a big batch of hummus or pesto. MMM!

Hi Everyone,
My mom wants a food processor so like a good daughter I'm getting her one -hehe.
Anyhoo, which one do you want/have and do you/why like it?
It doesn't have to be something crazy elaborate. Big enough for 2-3 servings?
I'm probably leaning towards a Cuisinart?
Thanks!
P.S. The one I have at home is Cuisinart dual food processor & blender.
