Anyone know the best kind of steamer for linens? I have 100 chair covers and 20 tablecloths that will surely be wrinkled by November. I don’t really want to spend alot of money on one…maybe one of those travel ones or a smaller one. Any advice would be appreciated.

we just used a regular iron set on med. heat for the linens and that worked better than my steamer (travel size/small). it of course depends on your material, but irons probably will work. we took the hotel one and brought 2 others so 3 people could iron at the same time. only one steamer with 20 tablecloths during set up will take most of your set up time away.

it is much better and faster to iron linens then steam them.

The only steamer that I will ever use is Joy Mangano’s steamer from HSN. Although, I’ve never steamed linens with it, I’m sure it would work fabulous. But I would have to agree with the last post and say that pressing your linens will probably look much better.

I am going to buy 200 chair covers and mentioned something to my Fiance about having to steam them before the wedding. He was so smart and said … steam them? No way, I’m buying one of those blue balls from TV and throwing them in the dryer!!! I thought… genius! Maybe it’s worth a shot!! Then you can let me know if it works 🙂
