I have a smallish budget for my wedding dress so I’m looking to spend no more than $500. I have been looking for good sites for knockoff dresses. I have tried looking at the used dresses but I have been able to find anything I like in my budget. I’m a little nervous going this route as I want a lace dress with open back which can tend to look cheap if not done correctly. Any advice?! Thanks!!!!!

The Bees tend to love:
Jasmine’s tends to do really well with lace, but they are also more expensive. I suggest getting quotes from both.
In the interest of full disclosure, I’m a huge fan of Jasmine’s. They post pictures of actual dresses they made in their blog. So you really get to see their craftmanship:

From what i’ve learned from weddingbee, the replica routes most succesfully (quaility of the dress wise) taken are as follows:
- Jasmine’s Bridal Shop
Light in the box
I ordered my flowergirl dresses from Dressilyme, and while I didn’t like them in the pictures, when i received them i was very pleased with them, the dresses are made with pretty good fabric and were skillfully crafted. However, for lace work, i’ve heard the best things about Jasmine’s Bridal Shop.
