Your lips already have a gorgeous pinky rose shade to them already - I would probably stick with a shade close to your normal shade as an enhancer and that way it will look natural and fresh!
Ha! I was so going to suggest "Twig" -- it's my FAVE! Can you bring Twig and maybe a gloss and small mirror, and just reapply as needed? (That's what I did!)
Well, you'll probably want a long-wearing lipstick. I have pale skin, too, and darker hair, and found Loreal Infallible lipcolor in rosebud to be just the browny-pinkish shade I was looking for, a little more brown than the color in your first picture.
I tried many different things, including Mac's long-wearing lipcolor. The nice thing about the Loreal is that it lasts, and the gloss feels more like a lip balm, so you're not sticky. I didn't like MAC's gloss as much.
I'm actually wearing MAC lipstick in the first one (either twig or viva glam 5, can't remember) and Laura mercier's "sugar violet" lip stain in the second. i love both of those colors, but they both come off really easily. Is there any sort of primer or something i can put on top to make it last longer? I don't want to have to reapply a million times.
I like the lipstains that covergirl just came out with, they are outlast as well and stay on a long time but give you natural color :)
I use a sealant that I got from Sephora over my MAC lipstick and it works great. I forget the brand but I'd check there.
Sealant.
I rarely use lipstick anymore. But when I do, use a sealant on top.
My fave now is buxom lips gloss from bare escentuals. Have it in 5 colors! Wear it with a nude liner.
The way I look at it (like Bruschetta) is that I want to wear what looks best on me. If it means in pictures I have to reapply it a few times to get the look I need, then great.
How about saving the kissy pics till the end?
Try Revlon Colorstay Soft and Smooth in Pecan Pleasure. It is a longwearing lipstick and the color looks similar to what you seem to prefer-I really like it and it's actually a comfortable 'longwearing' lip color.
Since your hair is auburn (like me!) I would say a mauve/copperish color. Like not too pinky or red but something more copper looking. DOes that make sense? And that would alos match an ivory dress (not bright red or hot pink, something more mellow)
I just gos some stain/gloss from MAC that is pretty amazing - it's a double ended tube - color on one side, clear gloss on the other. Loving it.
Look for glosses/lipsticks with "plum", "wine", or "mauve" in the title

My engagement pics are next week, and I still don't have a lipstick! I tend to stick to lip balm/lip gloss since I have red hair and it's hard to find a color that looks good on me. I need a brand/color that is long lasting and won't come off during all of our kissy pictures. Have any suggestions?
I'm in nyc, so I have access to Sephora and Mac and basically all other make-up companies. I've had good luck with MAC's "Twig" color, but it comes off easily.
(I'm attaching a few pics so you can get an idea of my hair color/skin tone, if you want to suggest specific shades. The picture with my little cousin is about 2 years old, but it shows a clear shot of my face. The one with my FI is more representative of how I look now, since I'm growing out my hair and I'll be wearing contacts for the shoot)
