You get a lot for your money in the Dominican Republic and it is beautifulllll there! Go for the all inclusive resorts, you don’t have to carry money for the whole vacation!

Turks and Caicos is beautiful, but can be very expensive. How about a Sandals all inclusive resort?

I am getting married in the Dominican republic at the majestic elegance. The have a section that is adults only. Otherwise I heard Excellence Resort was great if you want adults only. We may end there after the wedding.

We are going to Sandals Emerald Bay at Great Exuma in the Bahamas.  Haven’t been yet obviously so I can’t tell you how it is, but I can say I am looking forward to it!

Natalie,

That resort looks AMAZING! We are going to Montego Bay, but if they would have had butler room for around same price, we might have changed to Emerald Bay.

We didn’t go there for our honeymoon, but we’ve been to Sandals Whitehouse twice. It was absolutely fabulous. My sister went to Sandals Grand Riviera last year and really enjoyed it as well. We are looking for something this year!

PS – I know it’s not in the Caribbean, but we went to the Pacuare Lodge in Costa Rica for our honeymoon. Google it. It’s the most awe-inspiring place I’ve ever been to and if it wasn’t so hard to get to (we are in Eastern Canada) we would be there every year!!! It was hands-down the best vacation we have ever took.

@tpag8rgirl:  We pretty much decided based on the room on the beach we could get at Emerald Bay.  Super excited!

We are going to Negril, Jamaica, staying at the Couples Negril.

The couples resorts are getting fantastic reviews.  They have 4 in Jamaica.

I am soooo looking forward to it based on the reviews alone.

we just got back from st lucia. we went to body holiday at le sport. spa treatments were part of the inclusive package, there were three main resturants and one deli/snack place for lunch. we didnt leave the resort except for a sunset cruise put on by the resort.  we were able to do snorkeling, tubing( intertubs on the back of a power boat ( scariest thing i did but hubby wanted to try it so i did) we kayaked. I LOVE THE SPA- massages, facials, wraps, scrubs. so relaxing., they have a gym you could use when ever you wanted. plus they had exercise classes and yoga pilates ect. we did 6 nights 7 days there.

it was an adult only( 16 years and up) weekends there were kids on the beach because its not a private beach.
