(Closed) Best material for making flags?

I am sure what exactly but maybe a card stock type paper, something that doesn’t bend or fold by movement.

I plan to use Cardstock but I am not sure how to attach it to the pole

You can use any thick fabric you want and just spray it with a fabric stiffener. Canvas fabric would work great. Or a nice thick cotton. 

As for attatching it to the pole? They sewn it into a tube and then slipped the tube over a pole, but you could do something simpler…like.. roll the flag around the pole and hot glue it into place.  Or if you don’t want the same fabric as the flag to wrap around, you coule sew a loop or ribbon at the bottom and top of the flag and slip it on the pole and glue it into place.

Here’s one made of burlap where they’ve rolled it over and sewn it.
