Just curious, I LOVE milkshakes and esp. peanut butter ones. I never know where to get the ‘perfect’ one and since the bees are from all over, I figured I’d see if anyone has a favorite from a chain restaurant or store.

@MacFaniam24: BEST peanut butter fudge milkshake EVER comes from Cook Out. I know they are in NC. Not sure where else though.
They have real peanut butter and fudge IN their shakes.

So so random but when I was in college burger king started doing different flavors of milkshakes for a few months each and for like 3 months they had banana milkshakes– holy cow. They were AWESOME.
To be honest though I’m not much of a milkshake person (I love them but they always seem kind of indulgent with a meal) so its not really like I’ve sampled a whole lot lol. The only reason I even tried the BK banana was because I was sick and couldn’t swallow whole food so my then-bf got me milkshakes every day.

I just looked at Cookouts locations…I don’t live near any of them. Road trip anyone! haha jk! But my cousin lives in VA close to one, so hmmm maybe next time I’m there I will ask if we can go there! Also, I have been to Brusters and they had great ice cream so I bet they’d have good milkshakes too!

I LOVE milkshakes! I treat myself like every 6 months, but I only go to one place, Maggie Moo’s. It’s kind of like Coldstone, but way better IMO. They make their own ice cream on premises and have lots of flavors. I get Black Cherry ice cream with fudge and strawberries. YUM!! I just googled it and it looks like it’s national…

Peach Cobbler milkshake from CookOut! Yummmm!

I always get the peanut butter milkshake at cold stone. I get it with the low fat sweet cream instead of chocolate ice cream b/c I can’t have chocolate, but I can only imagine how much more awesome it is with the chocolate!

I have two favorites, the Chocolate Chip Shake from Sonic and basic vanilla from Mickey D’s.

I’m sure the milkshakes in the US are way better than the ones in the UK and there’s no real specific places to get them from. The best ones i’ve tasted are from TGI Fridays, which is incidentally an American themed restaurant chain.

@Karina27: Portillo’s is my husband’s favorite place ever! We live in CA and the nearest one is an hour and a half away, but I might have to indulge him with a road trip if they have a good shake!
