Too cute!
When the boy and I were LD and one of us would be visiting (8 hour drive) we would take a day, curl up in bed, watch movies and nap. It was wonderful :)
Aww, that sounds sweet. You guys should try it video chatting if you both have video cameras or computers equipped with camera.
I'm in a LDR - a long distance engagement actually and it's the simple things like this I miss all the time.
That is really really really sweet! How comforting. I am sleepy today too... Phones are hard. I am glad you are finding a way to hang make it work.
We have gone to sleep with video chat on before. It was great to wake up with him!
I am laughing my butt off reading this thread (as I wait for BF to come get me to go to his parent's house for mothers day dinner.) I'll report my findings later... :) lol!!!

The closest we've come to this is him falling asleep on the phone while I'm yakking away late at night. I usually whisper "goodnight" and hang up on him. I've never thought to hang out on the phone and listen to him snore! :)
me and the guy i was with use to do this about every single night when we were together. since he was on the west coast and i was on the east coast. he would wake me up when he was driving home from work since he worked 2nd shift. we would chat for a while then when he finally got home, he would get in bed and we would chat some more till we both fell asleep. it really did comfort knowing that even though we were so far apart that we could share that kind of intimacy with each other.
This is so cute! We're doing long distance this summer and he's been gone only 3 weeks and it's already hard.. We do video chat too but nap taking might be strange since we have a 3 hour time difference.

So, I usually HATE taking naps. I never understood the point of them until I met "T." One of our favorite things to do is to take naps together and being in an LDR...we really miss them. So today we took a nap "together" on the phone and it was so amazing! Even though we weren't physically together, the fact that we could hear each other breathing and moving over the phone was so comforting. Every once in awhile he would wisper, "you comfy, dude?" *melt* what a sweetheart!
Anyhoo, moral of the story is that this is a great way to connect and it takes the pressure off of always having something to say on the phone.
