I bought the Raquel Welch ones a few years back, I can’t remember if they were that great, but I returned them because they were used!! The salon seriously tried to scam me, but they looked nice in the package!

I don’t know about which brand is best, but I would definitely say clip-ins and 100% real human hair.

Clip-ins are great because you can place them anywhere you want on your head and you can use as many as you like. Plus, they don’t damage your hair.

Also, real human hair looks more natural and lasts longer. I found the synthetic hair went crazy after wearing it less than 5 times. My human hair clip-ins have lasted years.

I have the Euronext Remy Hair (real hair) from Sally’s and am VERY happy with it.  I can curl it or straighten it and have gotten good feedback that it looks real.  I don’t have any other brand to compare it to though.

I’ve worn my extensions for 6+ hours and they haven’t loosened.  They do start to make my head sore though.

I went with HeadKandy. It’s remy hair, thick, and nice shades – they are highlighted. They are based in the uk, but ship everywhere. I couldnt get the right shade in the Sally hair.

I got mine from here:  http://shop.ebay.com/human-hair/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

I got the 20″ 8 piece Remy Human Hair clip in extensions and really like them.  They looked really natural and cost way less than anything here in the States.  I wore them 3 times in the last few months (e-pics, wedding day, graduation) and they still look great.  One of the stitches in my small clips came undone, but I just need to sew a little stitch back on, no big deal.  Here’s a pic so you see what they look like.

i used 18 inch indi remy (yaki straight) hair… its pretty high quality and i payed 110 for 1 weft… i sewed the clips on myself.  the reason i went with these was because the yaki feels like my hair… a bit coarser and thicker. the kind from sallys felt a bit thin and too shiny compared to my real hair.  i have them cut into pieces… two that go at the bottom of my haid and all the way across (both are prolly 4 inches long or so (i measured to my own head)… and then i have 2 5 inch wefts, 3 3 inch wefts 3 1 inch wefts and 2 2 inch wefts. i just place them as i go… its just about right for my head and it blends well even though i have very thick hair.i
