What site is easiest for me to include on a small notecard where guests can upload their photos? I want everyone to share their photos with us and with each other.
I can’t figure out how to make a group site on Flickr, and if I can’t figure it out I know others won’t be able to.
Is there anything that’s really easy to use?

I like using Picasa with google. We made an e-mail just or photos to be sent to and then shared all the images with everyone. It’s worked out well for us. But personally I’m not ery computer savvy so simple was easiest for me.

I like the shutterfly site – you can make it password protected or anyone who has the link can upload photos. You can customize the look of it too. Take a look at mine if you want to see how it looks http://fallon062009.shutterfly.com
People can print pictures to their local target or order them and have them delivered. And they always have deals on print prices! Sometimes just for signing up on the site you get 50 free 4×6 prints.

We’re using smugmug and so far I’m really happy with the service. You can choose to make one, some or all of your folders available to your guests and they have options for your guests to email the photos for uploading or you can have them sign into your account.

Lots of bees have used Flickr — and we’ll be doing informing our guests about this site, too!

i’m going to give picasa a whirl. it seems to be as complicated as you make it since you can do picture editting and everything, but signing up was easy enough!

there is a simple one which is really nice and you may want to have a look at it too : bluemelon.com – none is going to find using this one difficult and it still offers you the features of the other services ; it is just that it has got a better interface and features

Two questions… From these sites, which is it possible for you to download from? I see you can do that with Wedding Lens in the $99 or $199 package… anyone have experience with the others?
I’m trying to avoid having guests add another account… one requires a yahoo account, another requires a google account (Picasa) Any thougths on that?

I’ve used flickr and shutterfly, and had better luck with flickr. I think the easiest thing to do is to set up an album that allows people to email photos to a unique address and they automatically get added to an album. No one has to sign up for anything!

Flickr lets you download all of the photos that are uploaded into an account. As LatteLove stated, it is much easier to create a new account and have everyone upload into that one.
I provided the login information for people to upload their photos. No one deleted anything, or messed anything up… just uploaded thousands of photos for us to use as we saw fit.

I have a Mac and have a MobileMe account which allows you to create galleries. I really like it because I can just send a link and people can download pics and upload some as well. You can also make it password protected.
