@caszos: I'm pretty sure you mean the Rebel T2i but that's ok =) Wolf Camera stores will usually have a class you can take (one night or one weekend day) that will show you the complete foundations of the camera. As always, reading through the manual (tidieous as it is) is always good also.
You can also try "for dummies" as they make great stuff (the one I linked is for the EOS Rebel T2i)!
Flickr has some AMAZING groups. There are camera body specific groups/boards, specific lens boards, topic boards, you name it!

As an early christmas present, DH got me a new dSLR. We went with the Canon Reel T2i because it had HD video capabilities.
I am pretty good with technology but never dabbled much in photography. I really want to learn how to use this camera to its full potential. I am willing to take a class but I would really just rather try to learn what I can on my own or online first.
I am looking for help finding an blog that goes through maybe a "tip of the day" or something like that. It doesn't have to be Canon specific although that would be helpful.
I have read up on ThatWife (Mrs. Avocado) because she also uses a canon and has posted some great photography tips on her blog. I would love to hear if anyone else has suggestions/tips!
(PS, right now I have the kit lens (18-55mm f/3.5-5.6), a telephoto lens (75-300mm f/4-5.6), and one other medium lens (55-250mm f/4-5.6)).
