Hi! I wear a size 12 too and I’ve found that the leggings at two stores are opaque and sturdy enough for my thighs and calves: jcpenney and kohls (Lauren Conrad brand). Also, they’re priced really well at those stores, between $8 and $16. I have seen really high quality, thick leggings at Marshall’s, but they’re more like $30.00. I wear leggings like every single day, so these two brands def. hold up!

You would be shocked but the best leggings I have ever bought are from Walmart.  I don’t buy clothes from Walmart but one day I was stuck during a trip visiting the FI parents.  Totally left my leggings at home and he lives in a super small town.  Walmart was the closest store for miles.

The brand is Danskin…they make all kinds of leggings for dance, sports etc.

I am a size 12-14 and these are the only ones that are thick and they last.  I have 3 pairs because they are SUPER cheap and they don’t fade easily.

my old navy, gap, forever 21 pairs have all either ripped or faded super early or are just too thin 🙁

I’m around a size 14 but I recently got XL size of Hue brand from JC Penney.
