Best registry sites for breaking up cost of big-ticket items / group gift giving

I would just put the bigger ticket items on your regular registry and let people work it out amongst themselves? 

I guess I don’t really get what happens if you get like $200 toward the dyson and and $400 to the couch…. would you pay the dfiference or not get the items, or just use the money not for what people designated?

I used Amazon universal registry for a registry which allowed us to pick physical items from pretty much anywhere and people seemed to like it.

I’ve seen Our Wishing Well used by a couple people, but am not familiar enough with it to know if it charges fees or anything.  I’m a pretty committed cash gifter, so I rarely spend too much time looking through registries.
