I’m a bit over 5’1″/105lbs and found the fitted A-line/ fit and flair were the best for me.  I LOVE the dress I ended up getting.  It’s a Martina Liana 419.

I’m 5’2. This is the sample as I am still waiting for my dress. ..7 mo later. .. so it’s  pretty long on  me and the proportions are off but you get the picture.

I’m a little taller, 5’3″ and a bit, not quite 5’4″ and just under 100 lbs.

The first two pictues are of my actual dress, although it’s still too big and needs alterations, siiiigh, and the third is of another one my consultant had my try on and I thought the silhouette looked great because I was small and thin.

@HappyInLove11:  I’m 5’3, and also have quite a large chest (32ddd) so finding a dress that didn’t make me feel like I was swimming in it AND making sure my chest felt comfortable was challenging! Here is what I ended up going with

I’m having a slightly modified version of this dress made for me by Jasmines (no bolero, cap sleeves, higher waistline). I loooved the ballgown effect on me even though it was way too long. The consultant mentioned that petite brides often suit the fairy tale ballgowns despite a lot of people being scared of being ‘lost’ in the fabric. I’m 5’2″ and weighed about 125lbs here, though I have lost about 10lbs since.

I’m 5’0″ (and 1/2″, lol) and this is my dress. I’m standing on a pedastal in the picture.  I recommend looking for a dress with long lines that isn’t broken up by a horizontal seam. Also no ballgowns or mermaid dresses. Sheath/column dresses looked horrible on me.

I’m 5’1″, but a lot bigger than you…Nonetheless height wise, I found that drop waist gowns were most elongating on me. There were some more mermaidish types that I tried on that were horrible because when the bridal consultant showed me what it would look like hemmed, it made the dress look completely different and made me look even shorter. Here is the dress I’m 99.9% sure I’m going with 🙂

I’m standing on a pedestal in the picture too.

i dont know how to load pictures yet lol,but im between 5’3 and 5’4 and i wore a ball gown and i think i looked beautiful 🙂

wedding dresses look and fit so much different then regular dresses and i think all types of wedding dresses can look beautful on kinds of types of bodies.i mean a certain ballgown may look great on me but not on you,a mermaid style may look great on you but not on me even though we can be the same height/size.so you just need to try on different kinds and figure out what looks beautiful on you personally 🙂

I’m 5ft 1″, 115lbs. Loved by ballgown dress! My bridesmaid took these photos on wedding day.

Mine is a slim-line dress with sleeves. (Allure 8764) I’m 5′ even and I weigh around 85 pounds. Ballgowns overwhelmed me, the overall effect of mermaids, trumpets and dropped waist dresses were lost on me. The only pictures I have are of me in a heavily clipped size 12, and my dress doesn’t deserve icky pictures of her floating around!
