Our disks are finally in the mail (yippee!!!) and I know that I want to order some prints ASAP. What site is good for ordering high quality prints?

@lovekiss: I have been happy with www.mpix.com. I ordered a few prints through the photographer and some of the same prints through mpix. The color was slightly different through mpix, but not noticable enough so that anyone would know unless they compared the photos side by side. The mpix photos were printed on the same paper as what came through the photographer.....so I might guess that if I hadn't checked the color correction box at mpix they would have been darn near identical.

Recently I've ordered photos (and a photo book) through Adoramapix, but I haven't received them yet. I do know other brides have also been happy with Adoramapix. :)

I'll second mpix -- it's where I send my clients. And I'd also recommend not having them do color correction. A pro photographer has already done that part :)

Thanks for the info! I will take a look at both of the suggested sites. :)

i read on here once that costco was good and so i ordered an 8x10 and some smaller prints and they were actually great!  definitely far superior to walmart type brands.  i can't compare to mpix or anything yet.

@blu77: just wanted to say thank you for this advice! I'm trying to order prints for my mom right now and was searching the Bee for the consensus as well as color correction yes/no.

    You gave me both :)

I printed our prints through Adoramapix, and I was really happy with the quality. I blew some up to 16 x 20 to frame, and they look great! :)
