We’re making a list of songs to go in our wedding video. Currently, we have:
That’s How Strong My Love Is (Otis Redding)
Come Into My Life (Jimmy Cliff)
Sugar Magnolia (Grateful Dead)
In My Life (Beatles)
You’re My Best Friend (Queen)
Beautiful Day (U2)
What songs did you ladies use? What are good wedding songs?

My photographer is using all the songs from our ceremony and the songs from our dances at our reception. My sister in law made me a video and it had Uncle Krackers “smile” on it…it fit perfect : )

My Fiance and I are music junkies and love sooo much it’s hard to pick our favorites, but here’s a few I love. I listen to these alot right now with him deployed to Iraq. Anyway, some are a little silly and old fashioned, while others are current. It’s a fun mix!
The Power of a Woman- Spencer Wiggins
I Have And Always Will- Dave Barnes (Might be our first dance song, not sure yet.)
When You gotta A Good Thing- Lady Antebellum
Hold You In My Arms – Ray LaMontagne (Check out You Are the Best Thing by same artist. Asweome bluesy rock voice)
I Got A Woman- Ray Charles
In Your Eyes- Peter Gabriel
When She Loves You- Emerson Hart

Pick something that has personal meaning to you, not what someone else likes.

Sometimes songs that other people love can become your favorite too. Thats how I actually found the peter gabriel song. Someone else in the beehive loved that song and used it for their first dance. Once I listened to it it brought tears to my eyes…it really is an amazing song!! Glad you got some good ideas from my list Amani!! 🙂
