Does anyone have a recommendation for a good strapless??? We all know that this is a MUST on your wedding day unless you’re a member of the I.B.T.C…(smile) My dress isn’t strapless but I don’t want the girls to sag either. Im a 36c. All comments welcome! 🙂

I’ll answer your question directly in case you’re not interested in my detail. The best strapless bra I have is a Wacoal. I’m a 36DDD and its my summer staple – supportive. Freya also makes a good strapless. Finally, see if your seamstress would suggest sewing a bra into your gown. Althought I was skeptical it seemed to work for me. It would depend on your gown style though. My gown is corsetted with a ballroom skirt.
The bridal salon suggested that I purchase a good regular bra – with straps – and they would cut the straps and sew the bra into the dress. I figured they didn’t understand so I purchased a bustier from Panache (one of my fave brands). When I tried it on with my dress fit great through the bodice but the bust area gapped dreadfully. I then, followed direction and tried it on with my regular bra and tucked in the straps – it fixed 75% of the bust fit issues and made my dress super comfy.
Before I left the alteration lady said to purchase a couple of push-up and slightly padded bras to bring in next time and try on with dress, then we would do the alterations.
We’ll see how it works out. Hope this helps.

One last thing. I was wearing the wrong bra size for way too long. Take the time to go somewhere and be properly fitted. The lady’s at Nordstrom worked wonders for me. Victoria’s Secret is hit or miss. Lots of those girls have no idea what they’re doing.

I LOVE the lillyette strapless minimizer from herroom.com! I have 40Dirty Delete and that bad boy doesnt move, supports and keeps the girls looking natural and not “uniboob”ish. Best part…its only $25!

I am a G cup (American) and my dress is strapless, I needed to find a wonderful supportive bra and I found it online.
barenecessities.com > Wacoal “red carpet convertible underwire” > item number #854119 > Price $60.00
I wore it to a wedding on Saturday and I was able to have 5+ hours of a wonderful support, no sagging, no pinching, no pain, it gives your breasts shape. I truly love this bra.
