I love tattoos and have no problem with them whatsosver. I have 3! However… My cousin just got a huge skull tattoo on the arm that’s pointed owards the crowd during the ceremony and it’s just huge. For the reception she can remove the make up but for the ceremony & before pictures I just want it covered. has anyone ever used anything to cover & it looked okay?

@Ready4TheKnot: there’s a product at sephora made specifically for covering tattoos and it works beautifully! The tattoo artist Kat Von D is the one who came up with it. You wont be disappointed!

Don’t ask her to cover it. It’s pretty crappy to change something about your BM just so you’ll have better pictures. It would be like asking her to lose weight or color her hair. Not cool at all. Chances are you won’t evwn notice it.

@Ready4TheKnot: I would NEVER ask someone to cover their tattoo but Dermablend does cover one I have on my arm that I despise.

Why not use a sleeve instead if it’s really big? Tattoo cover makeup requires a lot of work and layers to fully conceal it, especially if it’s dark and big. I use this all the time when I need to cover mine.

Look, asking someone to cover their tats is like saying “I love you and want you to stand beside me during this really important time, but I’m ashamed of your appearance, so you’re gonna have to change that.”
One of my bridesmaids almost has 2 sleeves and it looked really cool in the pictures. I’m glad I didn’t care more about appearances than her feelings.

unless she wants to cover the tattoo up herself, otherwise I won’t be asking her to.
