I'm looking for a product that is under $50.00 - it doesn't have to have fast results, I have lots of time before the wedding. If you tried a product and loved it, please let me know!

crest whites strips work well. i also had a tray molded to my teeth made at a local college. i only had to pay for materials (i think it was like $40, i can order more gel refills to do it again with the same tray) because the students need to practice making the trays. it was fantastic! i couldn't justify spending hundreds on dollars to have trays made at the dentist like my mom did, but these girls did a really good job! something to look into if you are looking for professional results and have a school with a dental program near you.

I'm addicted to tooth whitening. I've tried a lot of different methods from $300 UV whitening to the good old tooth paste. I'm now sold on Crest White Strips and Crest Vivid white tooth paste. I use both and people actually tease me that I'm going to be like Ross from friends soon with the glowing teeth lol.

I love Crest White Strips (: I've tried many different teeth whitening products in the past, and this was by far the best.

Whenever a bridal client asks me about teeth whitening, I recommend this. Trust me when I say that having sparkly, white teeth really finishes your makeup look (: Crest also just came out with a 2-Hour Express formula; I haven't tried it yet but I definitely think it's worth a shot. Good luck!

I really liked the Crest White Strips that my dentist recommended and sold to me.  It was the Supreme Professional strength, which are sold through amazon for just under $50.

My dentist did tell me to stay away from whitening toothpastes, as they are abrasive and ruin the enamel on your teeth...

I have had really good results with GoSmile products, a bit pricey but worth it!

I'm actually in dental school, so i've tried just about ever product. You have to know what you're recommending to patients, right?!

Crest whitestrips definitely work. If you have a long time you can use the kind you can buy in a grocery store. Once you lighten your teeth, you have to "keep up" with it because they will revert back and become stained again. Those whitestips might take a couple of boxes to get you at your lightest. wear whitestrips for 3-4 days every month or two to keep up the whiteness.

I've tried the crest strips sold only by dentists, they work faster, but they make my teeth SUPER sensitive and I don't normally have sensitive teeth. Ouch. I can only wear one strip a day every other day and even then, it hurts.

If you have a dental school around you and don't have any other dental issues you can get a bleaching tray custom molded to your teeth for relatively cheap, then you have to buy the whitening gel. Our school issues the Opalescence brand. It works AMAZINGLY. I love this stuff. It's stronger than crest whitestips and they actually have a desensitizing gel you can use before you whiten. I didn't have any sensitivity and it got my teeth super white. I recommend going that route.

    Good luck!

Wow sounds like the Crest products could be the way to go. It's still 6 months before our wedding so have heaps of time to get beauitful white teeth.

@bridetobe7844: Yes, the Crest white strips are definitely the way to go! Right now they have "giftsets" for the holidays at Walmart and similar places that package the whitestrips with the toothpaste and the mouthwash. They only cost $40 so you essentially get the mouthwash and toothpaste for free.

White strips are awesome. I also like to use this super cheap stuff called 5 Minute White. I get it at Walgreens for like 8 bucks. I don't even use the trays, just add it to your whitening toothpaste for an extra boost and it's like BOOM POW! Awesome.

Stick a Q-tip in hydrogen peroxide and then rub it on your teeth right before you brush your teeth... Seriously, your teeth will get whiter after one time.  Crest white strips uses peroxide to whiten your teeth but whatever else they used made my teeth hurt sooooo bad! Like I was crying bad lol. The peroxide on the Q-tip still made my teeth sensitive but only a little bit.

I love Crest Whitestrips. I am a coffee drinker, and I use the "Advanced Vivid" twice a year to keep my teeth white; ever since my dentist recommended them.

I want until I find it on sale (from CAD $50 full price to ~$25, and then use the $7 off coupon from the last box), and then stock up for both myself & Fi.

Peroxide is good for teeth that are too sensitive to whiten with trays... I know because I've done both :P As I work on film a lot, I like to keep my teeth looking great but can't afford white strips all that often. SO... here are some natural suggestions that have all worked for me, maybe it's a combination of each, idk.

baking soda- brushing with this at night once a week or so is good for a deep clean and really helps in the long run.

hydrogen peroxide- I actually use it before brushing as a mouthwash.... I can do this every night but not everyone can without irritation. I've noticed this works better (and has the same ingredient) as crest whitening mouthwash. That bubbling sensation? It's peroxide. Flavored peroxide with a nice taste, but still peroxide. And... I can get a big bottle for .80 cents vs a few dollars.

I use the Crest 3D white Multi-care whitening rinse.

Apparently, it has the same ingredients as White Strips, and I just use it after I brush my teeth :) really easy to keep up with, and it doesn't have the alcohol in it, plus it's minty :)

It def. has peroxide in it, and you can't eat or drink for like 30 minutes.
