So I am due for my period in the past few days and there are no signs of it. We went unprotected once during our wedding night a few days after my period. I started cramping a bit last friday and had been up until today where I show no more signs of cramping and no period. I don’t usually cramp this early before my period. I end up cramping a day or two before. I already took 3 PT’s and all came out negative. I took first response, the one with the lines. This morning was when I took the third one and it took about 2 1/2 minutes for the negative line to show up which was odd for me cause it usually shows up within one. Has anyone used anything different that just as good or know of any best PTs out there? What about the digital ones?

The digitals are not as sensitive, so most people use them to confirm – i.e., if you get a + on a digital, it’s +, no questions.
Most women seem to like the First Response Early Response tests (often called “FRER” on here). Whatever you do, DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, buy a blue dye test. They are notorious for giving false positives.
I hope that helps. I don’t know if you are hoping you are KU or not, but one thing to keep in mind – stressing over your AF being late usually makes it later. Sad but true.

The digitals are the easiest to read and are more sensitive. They give you a clear response such as YES or NO, or PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT. And you dont have to worry about reading lines. I used the First Response GOLD test and it gave me a clear YES readout

I used Clearblue pregnancy test the day after my period was due and got a positive. I had used a pregnancy test 5 days before my period was supposed to come a got a negative, even though I was pregnant at the time. It’s always best to wait until the day of or after your missed period or you may end up with a bunch of negatives, then a week later get a positive. Good luck!
