I looked at several organizers and refused to pay the price! Half of them didn't have much useful information! I printed Martha Stewarts guide and Real simple's guides and question lists and put them in a 3 ring binder with clear sheet protectors and dividers that have pockets in them! You can print custom tabs or use a labeler and insert them! I got stuff at Walmart and Staples/Office max. For a custom touch I made a cute custom logo that I printed and inserted into the front of the binder!

Here's the links to the guides! They have more info than most of those organizers!

I made my own, because to buy them is way too expensive and unnecesary.

I took a large 3 ring binder, made a cute cover page and glued it to the front. The inside has pockets, but I also added tab dividers and page protectors(to use as more pockets and to hold pamphlets, etc.

I am glad that I did it, because it feels more special to me that I made my own.

I second that Make your own. I just bought a pretty colored 1 1/2 in 3 ring binder and added all the dividers and pockets I needed. You can print so many various checklists off the internet! Although be weary of their timelines cause they will unnecessarily stress you out :)

I got a really basic one - and not too girly - at Target that I love.

Hi.  If you register at JC Penny's they give you a wedding organizer.  I originally bought an organizer but I registered there since I thought that I may want something there .... I didn't but anyway the organizer they give you have tons of pockets and stuff and is made by the same people who make the wedding solutions binder .  I bought the wedding solution binder 1st... and jP Penny's give you an engagment photo (8x10) and also a membership to wedding solutions' website.. their perks are great!! Check it out..

I ended up using some of the pages and just putting stuff together in my own binder...

I've seen the brand new one by Mindy Weiss and it looks awesome! It's really expensive but the tote is stylish and you could use it after the wedding for other things. Plus it's so packed with info it's prcatically like hiring Mindy to plan for you. If I were starting over, I'd definately buy that one. You can get it here:

It looks like you have some great ideas from others for a binder, but one thing I have found quite helpful is www.museweddings.com.  I love having a place to list everything since most of my planning has been done over the computer anyway.  I hope this helps!

I have to agree with making your own.  I went to Border's and spent way too much money on mine and pretty much all I use it for is filing things.  I also found that the tabbed folders in the planner don't really match with what I need to file.  I would save money and buy a pretty accordian file that you can file different receipts and contracts!

My BM bought me a wonderful, super great wedding planner binder from Barnes & Nobles...it's called "The Ultimate Wedding Planning Guide" by Elizabeth Lluch, Alec Lluch <h2 style="margin-bottom: 0px; padding-bottom: 0px"><em class="nl"></h2>
