Hey everyone! I've been looking around to find the best place to create our wedding website. I want something that is fairly easy to customize and edit. Where did you create yours? Any problems with it? Suggestions, etc? Thank you!

Check out this thread. I use wedshare. It's the best $ I have spent on wedding planning due to online planning features.

I use wedquarters.com - they have a lot of templates to choose from and it's pretty easy to navigate. I haven't had any problems at all and I've had it up for 8-9 months now. On a random side note, while I love the idea of wedding websites, I find that none of my guests actually use it! I'm having a destination wedding and put a ton of information on the site and while I think people looked at it once, they haven't used it for getting info about the wedding - they just end up asking me anyway...

Lots of people recommend mywedding.com <-- apparently really easy to set up and use with lots of layout options.

We're using weddingpath.co.uk but only because it's a UK based site so we're not having to go through all the hassle with the post codes and such.

I used theknot...pretty simple and I liked the end result.

I chose a website through Project Wedding mostly because I had a hard time finding a pink/grey color scheme that I liked at any of the other free sites I looked at.  Luckily, the Project Wedding sites are easy to set up and use as well.

We used weddingtracker, which is advertised on the knot, and I would NOT recommend it.  It is hard to customize as it is rigid character limits and gives you no warning when your website is about to expire, causing some brides I know to completely lose their page!

We're using weddingwindow.com and I would highly recommend it--$80 for one year, highly customizable but very easy to use.

I used mywedding.com.  I don't know anything about computers or web design and it was very easy to use.  They have a bunch of different designs you can use for your site.  Plus you can do online RSVPs that way (much less hassle than those stupid cards that nobody responds to anyway) and it creates a nice spreadsheet for you of all your guests.

I switched mine ove to project wedding, which is very easy to use. I like the map tool. HTey don't have an RSVP tool, but it's been great & it's free.

We were using weddingwire before and it is terrible. The html tool was always messing up and freezing and not aligning things right.

3rd for Weddingwindow!! I got the 14- or 16- month plan (I forget exactly how long but it's over a year) and just googled "weddingwindow coupons" and got like HALF off! BEST MONEY SPENT EVER. My family checks it all the time and there are so many options and ways to change their templates.

Also- whenever I have a question I just email their customer support and get a response back ASAP... usually from within the hour- from a REAL PERSON. And they are so nice. I've never seen customer service quite like that.

    I posted about it here.

Wedding Window is the way to go. I searched and searched and created a bunch of demo sites to test it all out and Wedding Window was by FAR the best. AWESOME features, you can customize the designs to yor specific colors/pictures and you're not stuff to a few colors in each design. The sky is the limit. WELL worth the money.

I used mywedding, too.  I like it because you can customize the layoyut and design.  They have a ton of different color and pattern options, so it's likely you can even do it in your wedding colors.  They have pretty standard pages (wedding party, accomodations, location, travel, registries) but you can add pages too.  I added a page with a link to our DJ's website, as well as a couple other pages.  If you PM me I can give you the address if you want to check mine out.

    Also, it's free.

I LOVE Mywedding.com! I have used theknot.com, weddingwire, wordpress and designing my own, but mywedding has been the best simply because of how many layouts they have! It looks so custom and they also have music like weddingwire that you can add to play.

I should also say that on mywedding I had a page of photo albums.  I did one album of us, one of our families, one of my parents on their wedding day (1969) and one of his parents on their wedding day (1973).  I just think mywedding has the best options for a free site.  I wouldn't even want to pay for more if I could afford it, because I don't feel like I need more.
