That’s an awesome number!!!! My beta at 7DPO was 13 and at 11DPO it was 150 so it probably would’ve been around that at 4 weeks exactly too.

@ieatunicorns:  I really don’t. Especially if you think you could have O’d earlier. I’d say it’s right on. I thought mine was super high too but everything was fine. Also, this is a longshot, but twin pregnancies have higher HCG too 🙂

I didn’t have 4w on the nose, but at 4w4d mine was 2975, of course the most important thing about your levels is the increase! The ranges online drove me crazy and I learned to just be happy with increases (until I dropped and had a scare, argh!)

I was on the high end or beyond most online ranges for my levels all the way through 10w, there was a question or two of two bebes in there, but if there was, a second was lost very early, and hopefully I have one in there now healthily growing!

When do you go again for more blood? Of course an u/s will get the best date judgement, the ranges and dating are far too wonky I think 🙂

@ieatunicorns:  Congrats!!! I didn’t have my beta numbers at 4 weeks, but I think you’re right on. And the higher numbers might just mean that you ovulated a little earlier on than you though…or multiples. The key is to go back and make sure they double within 48 hours. Are you going for another beta, or was this just to confirm that you’re pregnant?

Congrats! As the others have said – the numbers have a really broad range. Mine were over 6,000 when tested last week at 5 weeks and I read they could be anywhere from 18-7000.  🙂

Congratulations!

I don’t think your numbers are too high. At 4w mine were 1500 and at 4w 4d I think they were around 2900. I had to go in for an early ultrasound to rule out multiples but it’s only one little baby.

I don’t think there is such a thing as a too high beta!  Mine was 283 at 4 weeks, but I’m carrying twins.

I dont think that number is “too high” at all…I think it sounds nice and strong! My beta at 4 weeks was 396, so thats not too far off where yours is…and at 5 weeks my hcg was over 7,000! We thought we might have twins in there too lol, but nope, just 1 at our ultrasound! the important thing is that they are doubling so that’s good you’re getting them checked again on Weds. Also, its definitly possible you ovulated a little earlier than you thought…but my take is, your beta is nice and strong!!

Good numbers!  My draw at 4 weeks was 380 or something.  I wouldn’t read into the numbers at all, so long as they are going up and up and up!
