Have you thought about glass cookie jars without the lid?  You can get them pretty cheap at ikea, target, and walmart

have you tried going to ross/marshalls/TJ max? They have tons of containers… you can probably find a big vase or something that will do the trick…

My bridesmaids found me some wonderful glass Anchor Hocking punchbowls at Walmart for $10.  They only hold about 4 liters so they will have to be refilled thoughout the night.  We plan on making the punch the night before and storing it in jugs in the kitchen.  I like the idea since I won’t worry about the drinks getting too warm just sitting there.  Added perk the bowl and stand are two separate pieces that can be fliped to make a covered cakeplate! (perfect for showers and parties)
