I really like these (~20-25 bucks each at target, glass, 5 liter)
I’d probably be having at least 2 signature coctails, and at least 3 soft drinks- so that comes out to $100-150 just for the containers to put the drinks :/ out of a total budget of $3000 :p If it were just 1 or 2 I’d probably reuse them and be ok with spending 50 bucks. So now the series of questions.
– If I only buy 2, will it be ok to put the other drinks in normal pitchers? It’s a self serve buffet/bar setup.
-Which is better to put in a dispenser vs. pitcher- alcohol or non-alcohol? As far as kids getting into it on accident/keeping cold/ease of use
– Does anyone know of similar pitchers for cheaper? glass or plastic is fine, and I’m open to other styles

I would not put pop in anything. It will go flat very quickly. Everything else, go for it.

I bought some that were similar and I learned to buy one and test it out. The ones that I bought would hardly dispense anything, the liquid just dribbled out. ARG! They are now cookie jars at friends houses.

The Cost-Co here has some than look like glass but are heavy pleastic. They were $20 for a 3 gallon. The shape was more similar to the one on the left. Check ebay and maybe flea markets?

Yeah, Costco has them for $20 and I think this month in their monthly coupon book, there is an $5 or $7 coupon off. I think the coupon expires in a week, though.

Bed Bath and Beyond was having a sale on something like this too I think!
