MissACS....did you purchase using your credit card? Perhaps you can dispute the charged amount due to defective merchandize. Some credit card companies have "coverage" for times like these. Call your credit card company to find out.
So sorry this happened. Do these companies think they can be shady like that and no one will find out? The nerve!
woops we just ordered table runners from efavormart this weekend
hopefully we dont have the same issues you did!
definately see if you can dispute the charges if they were done by credit card!!
I ordered my table runner through them and had no problems. I am sorry that your expierience was bad :( I hope that things work out for you.
Purchased through PayPal which doesn't cover the condition of a product, apparently. They have a dispute form you can fill out that states condition as a reason to open the dispute, but when you fill it out and make a claim, they shut it down.
Going to actually talk to the bank who issued the Visa today.
Our runners that we ordered through them were fine. The napkin rings were AWFUL and the customer service and business practices are so bad they are criminal. This is not an ethical company.
Ugh-- I'm so sorry you're having such a bad time with them-- sounds terrible! I ordered the taffeta crinkle table runners through them, and both of my shipments worked out fine. Have you documented the damage with pictures to send to them? Sorry about the problems! :(
Well ... I just ordered overlays, napkins, and favour boxes from them, hopefully it turns out okay - I will let you guys know how my order works out!
I ordered from efavormart a few times throughout the wedding process and never had a bad experience. Sucks that you did, hopefully it gets resolved

Other people have had horrible experiences, too, it seems. There's an odd comfort in that I am not alone.
that's so weird, my runners from efavormart.com came fast and were fine. i also ordered fake flowers from ya ya creations (linentablecloths is a subsidiary of theirs) and also had no problems and got my order fast. sorry about your troubles and hopefully things start to work out for you!
thanks for the tip. sorry about your bad experience
I ordered 175 napkins from efavormart. I had no problems: quick shipping and everything was there. I did read about the problems others have had and decided to pay with a credit card in order to ensure that I had consumer protection. I will be putting in another order today and if it doesn't work out, I will dispute it with the credit card.
Good luck - I hope it turns out for you.
Wow i ordered napkins and tablecloths from them and i was really impressed, it shipped fast and they were in good condition. Good luck, i hope you get your money back!
While our experience with eFavorMart.com was excellent (the tablecloths came promptly, and looked great), apparently many others have had bad experiences. Anyone considering ordering from them should check this link from the Better Business Bureau, this link on brides.com, this link on oncewed.com, and this link on ripoffreport.com. The general consensus seems to be that you can often get good stuff from them very cheaply, but that if they mess up, it can be impossible to get an exchange or refund.
They definitely have the cheapest prices on some of my supplies but now I'm really worried to use them....
I am planning on getting crinkle overlays from efavormart. I ordered 1 of each color I'm going to be using (willow and champagne) to 1) sample the color, and 2) test out their reliability, shipping, etc, considering the negative reviews I'd read.
Everything in my shipment was perfect, and arrived quickly. Only problem was that the overlays were a bit wrinkled, but I think that is expected from just about anywhere, and I'll plan on hanging them/attempting to steam/iron well in advance to fix that.
The quality is probably not what you would expect if you were renting tafetta at $20 a pop, but these were $10 each, and certainly in isolation and in pictures they won't look cheap.
I know I could get the exact same overlays on ebay or a few other sites I found (can't remember the names), for more $ (like $12 each or something and higher shipping costs) but I think I'm going to chance it and try to get them cheaper and hope efavormart doesn't screw anything up!
DO NOT ORDER FROM EFAVORMART!! I ordered my mirrors and other items from there and my mirrors were shipped with ONE piece of TISSUE paper in between each mirror!!!! That's right, I said ONE piece of TISSUE Paper! Of course, they arrived completed shattered. I've been waiting 3 weeks for a refund and each time I contact them I am told 3-5 business days. Now, after the last contact, I am told they want me to return the shattered mirrors! Are you kidding???? You want me to ship shattered glass in the mail???? DONT ORDER FROM THEM!
I SECOND THIS! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!
I ordered over $400 in table linens from this company. When i returned from a 3 day vacation (that's right, 3 days!), I found that my shipment had been sent back to efavormart, because i wasn't there to sign for it.
When I explained to the "live help" lady, Christine, my situation, she was incredibly rude and told me it was my fault for being out of town. I told her that I never opted to have a signature requirement (and it doesn't say it anywhere on my receipt), and that the contract her company has with UPS is out of my control. I simply asked to have the package resent, and after telling me how it was my fault, they wanted to charge me $54.92. I'm requesting a full refund.
BEWARE of this company! Appalling customer service!
I order everything linen and napkin wise from them for 2 weddings and multiple showers/teas.
Never had a problem with them.
I have not ordered anything breakable from them though.
Their linens are awesome and their shipping is the most reasonable around.
Just be sure of what you are ordering color wise---I ordered like one chair sash in each type of fabric in the colors I thought I wanted to 'sample' them. that worked out well.
good to know on the breakable items.....I will be sure to remember that!!
efavormart was terrible! Went to www.SmartyHadAParty.com and they were awesome! I ordered all of my linens through them. Contact them on Facebook and they'll even give you a coupon.
I've been ordering from efavormart for years. 1/15 times they mess up, but I overlook it since they are cheap and I can get free deliveries if my order goes above a certain amount. I do plan to order some of the giant silk roses they advertised on FB. I can't seem to find them anywhere else so I'll stick with them since they've been fast, cheap and quality all these years.
Ouch I hope everything works out for you and that you can get some of your money back. Thanks for the heads up. I was considering using tableclothsfactory. Hmmm back to the old resources...
I too have experienced terrible customer service from efavormart. I ordered 72"x72" overlays and received overlays that were 68"x70". Not that big of a deal, but really just the principal of it. They weren't what I ordered, and I felt it was noticeable that they were rectangular instead of square. The first email reply I got insisted that the machine only cuts 72"x72", so it was impossible to get anything else. I sent an email back letting them know that the ones I got were definitely 68"x70" and must be defective. They again insisted that all of the overlays in their warehouse were correct and that I didn't measure correctly. I again emailed them back that I re-measured and they were definitely the incorrect size only to get an email back asking how many were like that. (All three emails had stated that they were ALL incorrect). So frustrated at this point and I definitely won’t be ordering from them again. I would rather pay a few extra bucks somewhere else to get some decent customer service.
I own a small business in Toronto, Canada and found efavormart.com while searching for cheaper products. To make the long story short, they sent me the wrong product which does not match the product photo they posted on their website. I contacted them 10 times in total via email and live chat service (they don’t have a phone number for customer services). They only responded to some of them, never clearly answered any of my questions, and kept insisting that they were right even after I sent them pictures of what they have on the website and what I received. It was talking to a brick wall. How can the first thing a customer service representative tells a client is “We sent you the right thing” without even asking for a proof or simply just asking “What is wrong”? Prpducts they sent me are no use for my business and without admitting that they sent me wrong products,
1) They offered me a refund but refused to pay for shipping
2) They changed the product photo the very next day
Guess what? I actually thought they might do that so I clipped their webpage on with the date stamped by my anti-virus program. I caught them red-handed. I can’t believe they actually changed the picture to cover up their mistake. I’ve already filed a report to the BBB and I’m looking for other legal avenues to fight them back. I am also going to contact my credit card company if there is anything they could do since this is clearly a fraud. Obviously they won’t be scamming everyone but there are many cases reported online and please do not buy from them and take a chance. They do carry cheap favours but hey, you could be the next victim of their fraud. Please do not take a chance which could possibly ruin your special day!
I ordered table runners from the table cloth factory adn love them.. I'm sorry you had a bad experience.
This company is awful. They go by the name www.tableclothsfactory.com as well. They will rip you off! I ordered tablecloths and chair sashes from them. The color was not what was depicted. Immediately returned them as directed on their website. (Never used any of it.) Waited weeks and received no credit on my credit card. Contacted them numerous times. Told to wait another week every time. Every contact I made with them was respectful. Just asking when would I be provided with a refund. Finally I filed a dispute with my credit card company. That prompted them to finally give me a refund. They gave me $97.28. I had paid $163.30. Today I received a letter from my CC company regarding the dispute. Ya Ya E Favormart wrote that they had already processed a refund to me and that I am, to quote, "a highly malicious customer, as I am trying to get more funds from merchant after they have already received their credit". This is just disgusting! How can a company survive with such despicable practices?

They are seriously THE worst. They sent me a box of garbage, literally. Napkin rings that were damaged right out of the box. Moreover, the little "original" plastic boxes they were sent in were banged up and broken with broken seals, etc. The other half of my order, runners, seems okay. I'm kind of afraid to look at them again.
Their customer service is absolutely HORRENDOUS. That alone should discourage you. No matter how inexpensive the product is, if you are going to be treated like dirt, it doesn't matter. I would have paid 5x as much to save myself the troubles and treatment I received with efavormart / tableclothsfactory.
The ignored my first contact, then spent a couple days ignoring me saying "You sent me chipped, dented, cracked product, I'd like to return them please. Please send a postage paid return" and kept trying to send me replacements and refusing a return. Yes, I'd love more garbage, please send more. When I told them I wasn't accepting their replacements and it was too late for them to send something, I was told to send it all back on my own dime, and if the rings were not in new condition, I wasn't getting a refund. (!??) So... basically, I could pay to send them back and they could then tell me no refund and keep the goods. My! That certainly sounds like an awesome plan. Now would you be so kind to tell me where's the line to get my ass kicked by stealth ninjas?
Check out the BBB reviews on them. I wish I did. http://www.trustlink.org/BusinessProfile.aspx?ID=205940934
I filed a report with the BBB and emailed the owner, who I am not expecting to be any less awful as the two people I've dealt with so far. At this point, it's not even the money I am out of that matters, it's the hideous customer service and product. I can take the loss, and in the aftermath of that loss, I hope by getting the word out, it will cost them exponentially more.
I'm filing a complaint with my and their state attorney generals offices as well and exploring other avenues. I am telling this story wherever and to whomever I can. No one needs to be treated this way or pay for garbage.
Save yourself girls and please, please, please pass this along and link it wherever you have to.
