I am having the same problem. We withdrew ours on October 17th and it’s been 14 business days and four emails. NOTHING. Have you recieved your funds yet, Mrs. Kuenzinger?

I’m having the same problem over here, too. Have you guys recieved your funds yet? I hope you have– it’ll give us some hope over here. If I would haven known it was going to take this long, I wouldn’t have set this thing up!

So, what happened in the end?

We created an “uponourstar” registry with my fiancé. We have family in Mexico and in Belgium but live in Canada so it’s just the easiest for everyone… But if we never see the colour of that money, then it’s a big scam!

Did you finally get your money?

My heart just sank when I found this thread… my wife and I did a cash registry with UponOurStar and have not received our funds either, it has been over 14 business days too. I began getting a bit suspicious when I realized that I was getting no replies to my emails asking about it, made a search online, and found this thread.

So, the big question is… has anyone in this thread had any success in getting their gift funds? How long did it take, what did you do?

Oh, and since they do not respond to emails asking about the transfer, has anyone tried to contact them with a different username, perhaps pretending you want to open a registry with them?

Oh no guys this sounds awful! have you all contacted your version of companies house? (thats the UK version) all business registery, it should contain contact numbers, addresses and CEO information. I think you should all also contact the police, fraud departments

About 4 days ago I finally received a reply via email from UponOurStar. They were very polite and apologetic about not replying earlier, and explained in detail that there had been a delay with the transfer of funds that originated with their bank. The person that replied also explained that they had followed up and that the transfer was underway. Two days later I received all our funds as promised.

I agree with other comments in this site and elsewhere on the web. The website is easy to use and looks very nice. Unfortunately the customer service leaves much to desire, and this is a big deal when transfer of funds does not occur in the timeframe advetized.

So, in brief… not a scam, just delayed transfer of funds and late replies from their customer service reps… all leading to an expected panic for anyone that sees their wedding cash gifts not appear in time
