Need some suggestion. I am getting my ring made by a jeweller overseas. I wanted a thin Bezel setting on a 4 prongs setting.
I can’t seem to find any images of this design on google. Can anyone help ? Or it that a setting that can’t be done.

tinalyn: If you are getting it made, how did you explain it? You didn’t show him pictures of what you want? I just googled it, but didn’t really find anything. I kinda thought you could do prongs OR a bezel, not both?? Interesting…

Bezel settings and prong settings are two different options. There is no such thing as a bezel cut. Can you find a picture on google images of what you mean and we can help you describe the photo to your jeweler?

A bezel is a rim that surrounds a stone, point being, you don’t need prongs. I am confused!

I can imagine a bezel set stone held up by prongs on a ring, although I don’t know that they would technically qualify as prongs, given that the stone itself would be held by the bezel. I have seen stones that are bezel set with a halo around the bezel, and I have seen bezels held on a cathedral setting.
Here is a photo from PriceScope. It has a halo, but if one looks at it very carefully, it looks like it has a bezel and three prongs. I suppose a ring could be made like this without the halo, but with the bezel AND the prongs:
