Instead of a big brother/sister braceletes maybe you could just get them all a nice bracelet with their name on it that they would wear as they grow older. We gave our DD books she likes to read and things non baby related so that she had things to do when we got home too. What does the 13 year old like to do?

@MarryMeTiffany:  Teen boys are so tough:( Do you think a cheap digital would work and then maybe he would get into photography more?

@MarryMeTiffany:  Do you honestly think your son will take photos and get them printed out?

What if you make it a scavenger hunt for the photos.  Like- take a picture of a aunt or uncle holding baby.  Take a picture of baby being burped.  Take a picture of baby in car seat etc.  When each child finishes their list and prints the pictures they get a none baby related prize- a new video game, makeup, clothing etc.

@MarryMeTiffany:  I’m glad you posted this because I’ve been thinking about the same thing.  My daughter is 11, so I want to get her something to make her feel special, but everything I’ve found online is targeted towards much younger kids.  What tshirts are you planning to get?  I’d love to see them!

That necklace is adorable!! She will love it 🙂

Does Andrew like to read at all? Comic books even? Even though you want them to be excited about the baby, sometimes being in a hospital can be boring for kids that age so maybe something to keep him entertained would be good. 13 is such an awkward age, too :). Maybe a gift card to have him pick out a gift from him to the baby?
