I say wear whatever you want on your day, regardless of how many people are there.  BUT I will say that it should be a formal/ black tie wedding because your gown is a ball gown.

No way! I too worried if my dress exceeded my type of wedding…but I soon got over it after really thinking how much I love my dress! Wear your dream dress! You look great in that ballgown! xo Love the scalloped bust line too!

That dress is stunning on you! And you should not change it no matter what the venue or how many ppl you are having. It’s your dress, wear it and be a princess.

@NeileeB:  100% Agreed!

& Since its going down to 20 some people or so making it a black tie event could be more due-able/more affordable. 🙂

EDIT: BUT it doesn’t HAVE to be anything, unless you want it to be. Always keep that in mind. Its YOUR wedding day & you can do whatever you want.

You want to feel beautiful and comfortable and look great in those photos so I say the big dress is perfect! No one fusses over the guests in the photos they fuss over the bride… you’ll be beautiful =)

Wear what you want!!  It’s a gorgeous dress and if you are happy in it, then that’s all you need to know!  🙂

Just so you know, I wore a dress that was about that size to my wedding of 37 people (including my husband, myself and our officiant!) and I wouldn’t change a thing!

You look freaking outstanding in this dress!!! I wouldnt change a thing weather you have 20 or 400 people wear that especially if it is your dream dress. This is your special day.

I *do* think it’s possible for the bride to be overdressed, but I think that’s more of an issue of the venue and the guests’ attire, not the number of guests.  Assuming your fiance will be wearing a suit or tux, and that the guests will be at least slightly formal, you’ll be fine.

All that said, that dress is GORGEOUS and you look fantastic in it.
