I watched the first three episodes then decided to wait till all the episodes were out and binge watch them! I think it’s based on a book so I might read that before finishing the series just so I can compare the two.

From what I’ve seen Jane is my favorite so far but like I said I’m not up to date so that could absolutely change.

pink624 :  oh god I love this show. David Kelley at his best and all of the actresses are fantastic, love all of the characters, hard to pick! I do not want it to end.

pink624 :  because it’s based on a book! It was a great read and if you like her storylines, I’d recommend checking out Moriarty’s other books. I liked The Husband’s Secret and What Alice Forgot. πŸ™‚

What a great show!!  It is so good. Nicole Kidman deserves an Emmy right now!  I don’t want it to end either!

I looove the book, so I’ve unfortunately been watching from the perspective of “why are they doing that? That didn’t happen in the book! Why would you CHANGE the BOOK?!”.
Madeleine was my favourite in the book and has been my favourite so far. Bonnie is a lot more sympathetic in the show, she doesn’t get that way until late in the book.

pink624 :  We’re only just getting it here in the UK.

I love the idea of the show, but found it a little slow going. I’ve bought the book now and look forward to reading it πŸ™‚

I remember being so engrossed in the book when it came out. The show is good but feels a bit slow! The actresses are all fantastic in it though.

The book is sooo much better than the show. I feel like the show is totally dragging on, they should have made it a movie – not a miniseries!

pink624 :  I read the book as well when it first came out. But unlike others, I’ve really been enjoying the show anyway – maybe because it’s been long enough since I read the book that i don’t notice the little changes they’ve made. Also, FI loves the show and hasn’t read the book, so it’s been fun watching with him and seeing his reactions (:

pink624 :  She’s not unlikeable or anything, she just isn’t very fleshed out until the end. I’m a stepmother-to-be to a teenager so I found myself really wanting to relate to her!

hikingbride :  I read half the book and then left the book in the pocket on an airplane a couple weeks ago. Please tell me, what happened with the daughter that chose to stay at her Dad’s who previously abandoned her? I got the rest of the storyline on Wikipedia but no info on what happened with the daughter. Thanks in advance!
