I'm definitely prepping for tomorrow. way too much to start on to go out tonight.
Im bummed I am still at work for another 50 minutes!!! :( We are going to a party tonight though so Im looking forward to that..
It is too far for us to travel for Thanksgiving, so we're here, not doing much either. Mr. Snow may get the turkey brine and I may bake a pie, but we may do it all in the morning.
I kinda like a relaxed evening! We may even get a little snow.
@ Snow: I wish we were getting snow. Right now it's just a gross fog/mist. I heard you guys were going to get some, but only a dusting. How exciting!
@ naangel: I didn't realize how early it is still on the west coast. I got out early @ 2:30, then some groceries and now I feel like it's been dark forever.
In college this was def one of the biggest bar nights of the year. Now? I'm cooking :)
I would much rather be out doing something fun than studying for my genetics exam! How horrible is that getting an exam to take over thanksgiving weekend?
Lol, we are actually going to a bar tonight! Since we are staying home tomorrow we don't need to get up early to do anything. Our favorite hockey team is playing so we figured we might as well go to a bar to watch it and get out of the house.
@whitesonnet- Yeah, we were first forecast for 2-3 inches, but that got lowered. I kinda wish we were getting a little more!
@july- I have a ton of work to complete over the next four days...Ugh.
Man, I wish it would snow here. It was like 65 today, and maybe even a little warmer. But, no bar night for me, I'm getting ready for tomorrow.
Prepping for tomorrow - not wishing I was at a bar, but also wishing I was done prepping for tomorrow.
I'm not a big fan of the whole Thanksgiving Eve bar thing. Granted, it's always fun and you run into all sorts of people from town, but I'd hate to risk the chance of a hangover on the morning of the greatest eating day of the year!! haha. So here I am, home on the couch, watching So You Think You Can Dance with my daughter, boyfriend, and animals (hehe). My sister might come by too.
I'm just a homebody, and loving this alone time while Mr. Lovebird is out.
Mr. Pengy and I are drinking on the couch and are gonna go out for sushi after our drinks are done and then wait for my parents to arrive tonight. I def. like going out the night before thanksgiving (not necessarily "party" go out, but drink and have a fun meal out) to ramp up for the holiday! It's more like I'm suuuuper excited for the holiday season to "officially" start!
Whoa thats crazy! I never knew that. Im too busy getting stuff ready for tomorrow (and playing on wedding bee lol)
However, Im not too busy to sip on a vodka tonic in the comfort of my own home :D

Today is supposed to be some huge party day. FI is out playing poker and I was going to one of my BMs house to chill and drink and maybe head out to the corner bar, but she had wifely duties at her in-laws to tend to and she's supposed to call me back later. I'm thinking I'm in for the post-a-thon long haul at this point though.
Anyone else kinda bummed they aren't out right now? I'm not really a big bar type, but I was looking forward to being out of my recliner. Or, are there bees on here prepping for the big day tomorrow?
