A lot of times the women in the finale look like they’ve gotten way too thin, especially if they just have a bigger build. But I can’t say I blame them when they are trying to win that money. I’m sure they put weight on immediately after and get to a more comfortable range.

@bowsergirl:  I agree. I always wonder about if this new lifestyle is sustainable, and for how long.

@FutureMrsHarris2014:  I know plenty of the contestants, especially going for the grand prize, don’t work at all between the last episode and the finale. They just work out for 6 hours a day and eat super lean. No way can a normal person maintain that. That’s why whenever they bring contestants back, they are always at least a little bigger. For the most part they stay healthy, but at a realistic weight.

@kellyha99:  Oh, WOW. That is thin for her. She looked fabulous in the last episode at 150lbs, I thought. She was already a size 6/8!

Will watch the episode tomorrow and see.

I agree! Rachel looks way too skinny. She did look better in her last episode.

I agree. How tall is she? She looks great,  but would look better with 5-10 pounds

She is 5’4″, and if you run her height and weight in a BMI calculator, she comes in underweight. If you consider the intense workouts and amount of muscle she has, I would consider her extremely underweight. She looked very unhealthy…my face mirrored jillian’s! I hope she gets the help I think she needs

The Australian host of biggest loser did an interview and said that the way the trainers train the contestants is really dangerous And they told her (host) to lose weight herself ,and their tips for contestants were to stop drinking water for a few days then drink a glass of wine to completely dehydrate themselves so they have no water weight at weigh in etc. so unsustainable in the real world. That’s what AJ (Australian host) said , not sure bout US but can’t imagine it’s much different the amount they lose in the timeframe is soooo unHealthy. It’s aaaall for TV and ratings that’s all they care about
