(Closed) biggest loser videos?

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the Biggest Loser Last Chance Workout DVD!  It’s definitely a good kick in the butt and I feel like I’m working out with my friends (since I watch BL).

I have the Biggest Loser Cardio Max and Strength Training DVDs and they’re both really good.  The Cardio Max one is a tougher workout for me, and it gives you the option to use hand weights.  So if you can only pick one, I’d go with Cardio Max.  But I like to mix it up and do both DVDs all of the time.

I bought the Cardio Max one and it was a huge letdown after the 30 Day Shred. I did all three sections of it at once, and didn’t feel like I got much of a workout. I stick to Jillian’s videos.

I REALLY like Cardio Max, as well as Jillian Michael’s Burn fAt boost metabolism (this one is the devil!!!) Cardio Max is a good challenge as well, and I find it flies by…its enough to really get the heart pumping but leaving you with enough energy for the rest of the day…can’t say the same about burn fat boost metabolism, as that workout from beginning to end has had me laid out after! (and i work out alot!)

I guess I should qualify my original response in light of lilyfaith’s comment.  If you have completed the 30 Day Shred (i.e. you can actually do the level 3 workout all the way through) then yeah, the Cardio Max and Strength Training DVDs won’t be that great of a workout.  But if you’re like me and you can do the level 1 workout on the 30 Day Shred but level 2 is pushing it, you’ll probably like these two DVDs.

Hmm, I guess that maybe I just have different weaknesses? I used 8 lb handweights with the shred, and 5 lb weights with the Cardio Max. I still hand a lot of energy left after the three levels of Cardio Max, although I did it after Shredding Level 2 for seven days straight, so maybe I was just in good shape at the time.
