Does anyone know where a Canadian girl can find the birch bark tubes to use around vases? I’ve found a lot of US places online, but would really love to either see them in person or order them from a Canadian ethically farmed source where they don’t cost $14 a piece.
Short of going up to my parents’ place in Muskoka and finding a fallen tree (which they have suggested and I turned down due to fears of not having enough solid pieces), I feel like I’ve exhausted my known Canadian sources. I’d love to be able to see a florist with them already found OR buy bulk flowers myself (as I’m just planning on doing mostly white flowers, with hits of hot pink).

Does Craigslist have a Canadian section? Maybe try e-bay? I’m not 100% sure about where to find that sort of thing. = /

Those are beautiful… and they seem like such a hot item! Everywhere I’ve found seems to be sold out. Seriously… a tree in Muskoka sounds like the easiest option! Sigh.
What about a flower wholesaler? You should call around to find out… 🙂 Do you have any friends/family that work in the industry or that are affiliated with a church? A lot of churches allow their members to access the wholesalers across Canada to get the best price for altar arrangements (my church does this!)

Thanks for the advice, guys. I’m going to check out Craiglist and a flower wholesaler. 🙂
