I need to have a card holder of some sort and would really like a birdcage, but I don’t want to waste the money buying one and having it for the rest of my marriage. Anyone know where I may be able to rent one for a day or two and then return it? I’m in upstate NY.

My mom found a birdcage for me on craigslist. You could also look on ebay. It’s cheaper than buying new, and you can always just resell it after the wedding.

That’s so funny…I literally just ordered mine last night. You can always use it as like a planter or accent piece in yout backyard after the wedding….even a cool candle holder or something fun. But this is where I ordered mine. It comes with two for some reason but it was only $19.99:

I got mine at Marshalls for a cool $16. It is kind of old looking and I’m going to doll it up with some moss and vines and stuff and make it a ‘fairy’ cage instead of a bird cage. Birds creep me out 🙂 but I didn’t wand a card box – wouldn’t fit with our theme.

Found a great one on e-bay, I ended up winning it for around $14.00. (of course, shipping was about $12.00!) It came from upstate NY lol! I saw it on the internet for $59 plus $15 ship so I feel like I got a good buy!

I found mine at a thrift/vintage store for $12. I think Jo-Ann Fabrics also has some white wire birdcages for under $20, which might be the same price as renting, and you could possibly re-sell it on craigslist afterwards.

I ordered one on save-on-crafts.com too for $19.99! Although, after meeting with the reception hall for the 2nd time I realized that they have one that is way nicer that we can use for free, uhhh. My bridesmaids are planning on using it for the showers so at least they’ll get some use!
