Hi ladies, have any of you used birdcages as their centerpieces? I was thinking about buying vintage ones and filling them with fresh flowers and candles but I’m not sure how it would look. Do you have inspiration pictures or,even better, pictures from your own wedding? Where did you get the birdcages? How much did the centerpieces ended up costing? Thanks a lot!

i received my first cage today from Ebay, it cost me £15…thats including p/p. i am having 5-6 of them, all different if i can, so its not too uniform. i got the oblong one today, and have just ordered a round one. (exactly the same as the top one). then i want square, hexagon and any other different one.
i will keep one myself, and either give one each to my bridesmaids, or sell them on Ebay afterwards.
I have decided not to use candles, and have changed my mind about roses too, I am having them filled with sweet peas and gysophelia. and maybe a little bit of ivy. i LOVE the smell of sweet peas.
