I feel like birdcage veils work better with a structured/vintage look. That dress is so flowy that I think a birdcage veil might look out of place. I think you could still get a beaded clip or rosette to wear in your hair without a birdcage veil.

Birdcage veils I thin go with anything! It’s your wedding day! wear what makes you feel beautiful!! What about doing a combo…long veil for the ceremony and a birdcage for the reception?

I’m biased though, because I’m wearing a birdcage veil. Wink

Don’t know if you’ve bought yours yet, but check out the website from the lady who’s making mine. There you can see a whole bunch of photos of brides in all different gown types and colors wearing birdcage veils handmade for each bride. It’s pretty fantastic. How could you not get excited about these!! Go fo it!!

I agree with camrie – I think a birdcage veil might look a little out of place with this dress.

I agree with pilotsgirl09! I think you should wear whatever you like the most. I love birdcage veils. There’s a lot of different styles out there too… there’s the bandeau that attaches on the sides of the head, or the kind that attaches from the top of the head, then there’s the kind that are attached to little hats or even pill box hats. Then there’s all kinds of lengths… up to under the eyes, up to under the nose, up to under the lips, up to under the chin… then some people even put it so the ending line fits  diagonally I think the bandeau style would look best with this dress because it’s a more simpler style which I think might go better with your flowy dress. You should try to get one with a detachable fascinator so you can wear the flower/feathers/jeweled clip separate later. ALso, you should check outthe birdcage veils that are made with illusion tulle, you might like this look with your dress as well 🙂 Here is one etsy seller I just found that has them.. 🙂

Love the gown-it is wonderful for a vineyard wedding!  IDK about a birdcage veil?  I looked at the site above, maybe one of the mini ones, although I think a hair flower would be perfect, IMO.  🙂
