Kendrao:  I voted cathedral because I just love the classic look and that’s what I’ve always wanted. I love birdcages too, but I think it really depends on your style and what your dress is like.

At a fitting, try on some veils and see which looks best with your dress 🙂

Kendrao:  Well I think it completely depends on the dress. My dress has lots of drama and would look complicated with a birdcage veil. I’m wearing a simple single layer fingertip veil. Just to complete the look.

I’m planning on a fingertip veil, I voted cathedral. I personally don’t like birdcage veils at all.

Kendrao:  What a beautiful wedding gown! Hmm, I think I still vote for a cathedral, or at least traditional, veil. You obviously don’t need to have it that long, but I think it a traditional veil will go better with your gown than a birdcage. You can also get a little creative with your veil and can add a blusher, pearls, crystals, lace, ribbon trim, whatever you like!

I still think you should try on both with your gown on and see what you prefer. 🙂

Kendrao:  ohhh its beautiful! You really could go either way. Birdcage would work with the texture and vintage vibe really well. Where is the ceremony taking place? A friend of mine did cathedral veil for ceremony and birdcage for reception.
