Hey dress twin!  Great taste you’ve got.

I’m going to be a two-veil bride with MY Mila, wearing a cathedral length one for the church ceremony, and then switching into a birdcage veil the fabulous Mrs. Sea Breeze is custom making for me.  I say do both!

These are my wedding shoes: http://www.weddingbee.com/2009/04/29/shoe-success/

What about you?

Still deciding on my jewelry, but hopefully I’ll have a clearer idea about that after tomorrow night — my second first fitting.  I might do simple earrings AND a necklace.  Because the dress isn’t gaudy, you know, and neither will be my veil or hair.

I love the idea of two veils, and it really works with Mila because when she’s bustled, it’s a completely different look from when she’s not!

Well, I don’t really have too much in the boobs department to worry about.

Have you started dress alterations yet?  I needed to get my shoes before mine began, because of the hem and asymmetrical train/bustle.  I’m most comfortable in 2-3.5 inch heels, so I’m really happy with my wedding day shoe find!

I think the birdcage is a style thing and not as much a function thing. A traditional veil shouldnt be heavy or make you sweat.  It a personal style thing. I think some people look sooo cute in them!  And some (myself included) look silly. Which do you like for your (and your dress) style?

Go for the birdcage I wore the Mila and loved the look together. Check out some of my pics from my 9/12/09 wedding.

I was actually going to say I’m not a huge birdcage veil fan- but I LOVE the above photos.
